FROM THE WILDS OF BORNEO TO THE WILDS OF SHEPRETH!
Over the last three months, seven cadets and three staff members from the Squadron have been very busy fundraising for their impending trip to Borneo in April. The cadets have arranged two discos, completed a bag pack at Tesco, as well as organised several raffles.
The trip has been generously supported by Shepreth Wildlife Park, who have provided a range of raffle and draw ticket prizes. Whilst the cadets are in Borneo they will be participating in a school project and the park have kindly donated stationery items for use in the classroom with the children. This support has been typical of other local companies and charities, with generous support coming from The Royston Rotary Club and the Henry Morris Trust.
So far the cadets have raised £13,000 but are £2000 short of their target. If you feel you would be able to assist with helping them to reach their goal, then please visit www.justgiving.co.uk/bassingbournatc
