1. ATC Sunday 5th February 2012
This is a very important date for the Squadron so please make yourselves available. This year the parade will be hosted by 2462(Oakley) Squadron. Due to transport issues you will have to make your own way to Oakley. Letters will be given to you with all the information on. Dress is best blues. You will need a small amount of change for the collection. Smart turnout with regulation haircuts. The Squadron band will be leading the parade.
2. ATC Examinations
If you were due to take your exam last November, a new date has been arranged for Wednesday 8th February. Please see Sgt (ATC) Springall for the relevant details.
3. Wing Netball
This will take place on Sunday 29th January. Cdts Fisher and Green have been selected to play. Sgt Kyprianou to arrange travel details.
4. Air Experience Flying
This will take place on Sunday 19th February. 3 allocations for Cambourne DF and 5 for the main Squadron. If any member of staff is available to take the cadets please let P/O Rogers or Mrs Kelly know. Interested cadets please give your names into the office. Priority will go to those cadets who represent the Squadron at sports, parades and assisting the Squadrons community work.

5. Adventure Training, North Wales
An adventure training camp has been arranged at Capel Curig Training camp from the 4th – 11th August. There will be a range of activities on offer including: Mountain walking, wild country camping, canoeing, mine exploration, high ropes, zip wire, rock climbing, Abseiling, etc. The cost will be £100 which includes travel, accommodation, and meals. A £50 deposit is payable by the end of April 2012. Cadets need to supply suitable equipment and clothing for wild country activities. Any queries please see Mr Powell.
6. Summer Camp RAF Cranwell
This will take place from Sat 25th Aug to 2nd Sep. If you are interested in attending please give your names in to the squadron office.
7. Overseas camps
If you are interested in attending an overseas camp to one of the following destinations:
Gibraltar, Cyprus and Rheindalein. You must be over 15 years of age and a leading cadet. The cost of the camps is approximately £350, please see Mrs Kelly for details.
